Suite 5 faces the old statehouse lawn. Adams is not a shortcut on fair week.
If you arrive on Sunday the plaque is dark. If you arrive during the State Fair, the plaza is a rumor.
How to arrive
1 S Old State Capitol Plaza, Suite 5. From the Lincoln Home, walk until tourist volume becomes clerk volume. Window 5 is the bronze plaque, not the glass lobby.
Fair Saturdays, park north of the square and walk. Do not trust a lot that promises the dome.
- Bring the irons you actually stall or over-turn
- Name morning dew or afternoon dry
- Leave the catalog letter in the car if you can bear it
