Roadside note
A sleeve of numbers is not a hang.
People arrive from the roadside shops on 66 with a sleeve of letters they want Window 5 to notarize. Static balance on a 14-inch fulcrum is a useful rumor. It is not the citizen the plaza meets. Otis hangs the heads anyway, and the letters rarely survive the first iron.
Keep the sleeve as a souvenir. The carbon is the file. June will not copy a roadside number onto pink paper as hospitality.
